All in Achord Singers

Lucas 1 (1)

Lucas

Baritone
Lucas guides tours at the Flandrau Planetarium on the University of Arizona campus. But when he’s not contemplating the stars, Lucas also sings in the University of Arizona Faculty-Staff Choir and the Tucson Sunshine Chorus, as well as All in Achord.
Paul 1 (1)

Paul

Bass
Paul is a professor of dendrochronology (that’s tree ring research) and environmental studies at the University of Arizona. He’s also president of the University of Arizona Faculty-Staff Choir in addition to providing a very resonant bass foundation to All in Achord.
Keith 1 (1)

Keith

Lead
Keith has been singing ever since he can remember, and has enjoyed singing in groups and places all over the U.S. and beyond, just for the fun of it. As an Air Force Academy cadet, he was in the traveling Cadet Chorale that sang in cities across the nation. While on active duty in the Air Force, he made found a local community chorus wherever he was stationed, including Myrtle Beach, SC; Panama City, FL; Kaiserslautern, Germany; and Tucson. He’s done solo work along the way, too. All of the above prepared me well for the next chapter, when, on a whim in 2006, I joined a barbershop quartet called Sonoran Sound, where I got my start as a lead singer. Two members of All In Achord, Gil and Paul, were also in that quartet, and it's been great having the gang back together again!
Gil 1 (1)

Gil

Tenor
Gil’s a retired university professor (English/Miami-Ohio) and has been singing acapella going back to college days. He’s been singing barbershop for almost 50 years, has directed two barbershop choruses, has sung in an international championship barbershop chorus and a handful of international competitor quartets. He should know better by now, but still loves ringing chords with the guys and sharing those harmonies with audiences anywhere.
